KUC is a Purpose Driven Church, moving prayerfully forward to fulfill our mission to love the Lord with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength (Mark 12:30); and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to observe all that Jesus commanded (Matthew 28:19-20). We have an intentional process for members to engage in five biblical purposes to live for Jesus Christ. These purposes are:

Kahului Union Church encourages everyone to vote in our upcoming elections. Elections matter as we have seen with the recent attempt by Lawmakers to legalize Civil Unions in Hawaii, and the Governor's subsequent Veto of HB 444.

Kahului Union Church
In light of the resolution passed by the 2005 General Synod of the United Church of Christ concerning "Equal Marriage Rights for All," Kahului Union Church reaffirms its faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, marriage as only between one man and one woman, and the authority of the Bible for our faith and life.
