AUDIO & VISUAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT MINISTRY
Operating audio and/or visual equipment to enhance worship service presentations. Present equipment includes: sound board, Macintosh computer (Power Point, I-Movie), audio cassette reproducer.

CHAPEL CARE MINISTRY
Making the sanctuary, narthex, and cry rooms welcoming places by keeping them neat and well-supplied with Bibles, hymnals, prayer cards, offering envelopes, pens, altar candles, etc.

CHILD CARE TEAM
Providing a safe and fun environment for children ages 1 to 5 during our second Sunday service, 10:15am-11:45am, and blessing their parents who attend the services.

CREATIVE ARTS MINISTRY drama

Dance - Promoting worship in creative and inspiring ways through the gift of dance.
Drama - Using your God-given talent as an actor to introduce, emphasize, and/or support the Pastor’s message.
Hula Halau - Promoting worship through Hawaiian dance, a creative, inspiring and visually powerful art.
Signing - Expressing God’s word and message through the beautiful art of signing.

REFRESHMENT TEAM
Serving light refreshments to help foster fellowship and strengthen ohana (family). Also helping with set up and clean up. Refreshments are provided by the church and donated by members.

FIRST AID CARE TEAM (FACT)
Providing physical care and emotional comfort to participants who may need support at worship services and other church events. Also, keeping our church family informed about health concerns.

GREETERS MINISTRY
Helping prepare the hearts of members and guests for worship by welcoming them to Kahului Union Church with a smile, a warm greeting, and a name tag. Greeters rotate monthly.

MUSIC MINISTRY

Choir - Magnifying the Lord with your voice in concert with other voices. Keiki Anuenue (grades1-3), Rainbow (grades 4-12), and Chancel (adults) choirs practice weekly.
Family Choir - Singing to the Lord as a family! Family Choir meets on Sundays after Second Service for lunch and then for practice in the Music Room from 12:30am to 1:30pm.
Men’s Ensemble - Singing with a select group for special numbers and special occasions.
Ukulele Ministry - Learning to play the ukulele to glorify and honor God through praise songs and to have fun and fellowship through music.
Bells - Making joyful and beautiful music to the Lord with the bell choir!
Praise Band - Vocalists and instrumentalists, help the congregation praise and adore the Lord through contemporary music at the 10:30am Service. Practices are weekly.

USHERS MINISTRY
Helping to provide a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for all members and guests at our worship services by greeting them, giving them programs, and assisting them with any problems that may arise. Ushers also take the offering. Ushers rotate monthly.

VIDEO AND PHOTO TECH MINISTRY
Enhancing Sunday services and church publications with video and/or photography skills.

WORSHIP LEADERS
Assisting the Pastors by guiding the congregation in meaningful worship.
