Maui Links

Maui is a beautiful representation of God's glorious creation. Known as "The Valley Isle", Maui is the second largest of the Hawaiian Islands, approximately 48 miles (76.8km) long and 26 miles (41.6km) wide, totaling 728 square miles. The County of Maui includes the islands of Maui, Lanai, Kahoolawe, and Molokai. Our population is diverse, with many ethnic groups having originally arrived in the islands to work sugar cane and pineapple plantations from countries of the Western Pacific rim.

Below are a few links to familiarize yourself with our island and the State of Hawaii.

    State of Hawaii Links

Hawaii is the 50th and only U.S. state in the tropics. Sometimes called "the paradise of the pacific", Hawaii is a beautiful expression of God's wonderful creation with abundant sunshine; expanses of lush green plants and bright colored flowers; coral beaches with rolling white surf; and cloud-covered volcanic peaks rising to majestic heights. Hawaii contains one of the world's most active volcanoes in Kilauea. Consisting of eight islands (Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, Kauai, Niihau, the 'Big Island' of Hawaii, & Kahoolawe), the State of Hawaii represents more ethnic and cultural groups than in any other state of the union.
